Planet Kids

While most ski resort kids programs are designed for you to drop your children off for their first day on snow, we at Soda want moms and dads to be there for your children's first turns on skis or snowboards, ages 8 and under.  With coaches available to help get your little ones started, Planet Snow Kids is a great way to affordably get started in snow sports.  Planet Kids is located on the West side of the resort.  To get there simply gather the kids and catch the sleigh ride over from the main lodge.

 

 

What to expect in Planet Kids: 

2 tube carousels for our little tiny guests.  Two moving carpets for skiers and snowboarders.  A volcano to play on and climb.  A mini tubing area and more.

We supply all of the gear:  Rental skis, snowboards, boots, and coaches.  Helmets are also included with rental gear.

You supply:  The children, snow clothes to keep your children warm (and if you forget something - we have that too!).  We do require parents/guardian supervision for your children and that you stay in Planet Snow Kids while your children enjoy the fun. 

 

All for just $25(includes 1 parent/guardian pass)

Operating Hours:  10am to 4pm Thursday - Monday and Holidays.  During the following holiday periods Soda Springs will be open 7 day/week: February 16-24, 2013 and March 23 - April 7, 2013.

Save Time! Print and sign your liability forms at home so they are ready when you arrive.  (Download Liability Form) - Liability forms are needed for anyone participating in skiing/snowboarding, tubing or at Planet Kids.  One form is needed for each adult (age 18+), multiple (up to 4/form) may be listed on a single liability form.

 

Should your kids decide they'd like to try a chair lift lesson, we offer a Planet Kids upgrade for $50 which buys you a 1 hour lesson with our professional ski instructors using the Planet Kids rental equipment.  (based on availability).   

 

One-on-One Instruction: $25 will get your child 30-minutes of private instruction inside Planet Kids. (based on availability).
